Cross Lane Racing prospect Mattaniah – a two-year-old filly by Jack Hobbs out of Lady Shirocco – is set to join Sam England’s stable in Guiseley, West Yorkshire.

England – who was herself a jockey before taking up training – has saddled 170 National Hunt winners to date (correct as of 8 September, 2025) as well as boasting 48 victories to her name on the Flat.

The Manor Farm Stables, which are set to be Mattaniah’s new home – offer a range of facilities and equipment, including schooling grounds, turnout paddocks, a lunge pen and a swimming pool.
